So what happens now?

So after finding out yesterday about my glucose, I hoped online and posted the question to Dr. Fuhrman on his website. His reply, and I quote: "Wow, you are diabetic then. Get your fasting glucose checked and a fasting HBA1C too. Lets get the data together as fast as possible."
I then attempt to call Dr. Awesome, but he never got back to me. At this point I'm wondering if I should tell me GP in Auburn... I don't really want to, cause all she likes to do is give me drugs... and I didn't want her to upset that I had another doctor order labs for me (I don't know how doctors feel about that... *shrug*). But fortunately for me, I didn't have to make the decision.. for at 5 o'clock, her nurse called me... informing me that there were some abnormalities in my labs that were quite serious and that they made an appointment for me for today at 1:15. She didn't tell me what was going on, just that I needed to come. She said that they technically didn't have any spots open.. but they made one for me. And that was that. No other info. She didn't tell me what it was, or what they wanted to check, or anything. Just... come in at 1:15.
Since Dr. Fuhrman wanted a fasting flucose level.. I'm assuming they're going to want to do the same... so I haven't eaten yet today. Bah! I fasted for FORTEEN DAYS and it's only been 12 hours.. and I'm all mopey and want something to it. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I'm a little surprised that the nurse didn't tell me to fast. I want answers as fast as possible people! None of this waiting around nonsense. I'll be ready for lab work as soon as I step my foot into that door.
Speaking of which... better get going!!!

Here's a great quote I found from my fasting days:
The Way of the Duck: Calm and serine on top, but paddling like hell underneath.
