Before I start the homeopathic treatment, I figured it a good idea to get a CBC. However, I did NOT feel like talking to my GP... I couldn't imagine her being so keen on the idea of what I'm about to embark on, and most likely wouldn't order a lab just because I wanted to order them.
So I sent an email to Dr. Awesome in Santa Rosa, explaining that I wanted to test before I started..just to have the foundation. What's nice is I can take the order to LabCorp and get it done for free! So I asked if he could order a CBC and Metabolic panel (just cause I haven't tested that in a while).
I never got a reply to the email (which I've come to expect now), and today it came in the mail! In the envelop were two things: A copy of my email, with "Ok" written under it. And a lab order. :) I love it. I really am becoming my own doctor.
So Monday I'll go in and get my blood drawn (Hopefully they won't screw up!...it's been known to happen with me). As always, I'm excited to see where they're at. For sure they were down a week or so ago.. but I feel like they went up a bit. Mid to upper 20's instead of low 20's/teens.
Whee. I'm passing out. Bed time 20 minutes ago!
Anti-superbowl party tomorrow! WHOOHOO! It's always a good time. :)
