Hey Spring! Thanks for the sneek peek!

My Saturday started out like any other day in which I didn't have work in the morning. My feet finally touched the floor about 9:15 (after my cat so graciously offered to wake me up at 5:45am.. I was actually tempted to get up, since I seemed fairly alert... But that thought fled from me within 5 minuets and was soundly back to dream land until 9:oo)
Breakfast was the usual awesomeness: A carrot, bit of broccoli, kale, cilantro, walnuts, and banana blended together and poured over oatmeal, chopped pineapple, cranberries, and sunflower seeds.
I enjoyed some mid-morning fresh air, as it was sunny out, but still cool and quite breezy, and watched my cat romp about in the year, clearly more comfortable with my presence there.
Then back inside to read and learn about homeopathy and do some emailing.
*Time passes*
I popped my head into my parents room and check the outside temperature. 71 degrees! WHOA! All types of fantastic. I threw on some shorts and tank top and jumped on the trampoline for about 15 minutes. Just wonderful. Sunny. Slightly breezy. Ahhhh. I was hoping the stronger g-forces would help pull out the gunk that's still hanging out in my middle ear. Something was definitely going on in that neighborhood, but it's still there. :P

All in all, it was a beautiful day, and I thoroughly enjoyed the time outside.
And it ended with ice cream:

OREOESQUE ICREAM
(Why this kind of tastes like Oreos, I don't know... but there you have it)

  • About a 1/4 - 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • A small cup of water
  • About 1/3 cup of nuts (I have walnuts and cashews here)
  • A few dates
  • A scoop of choffee (ground, roasted coco bean)

Blend all that in a blender. (Sometimes I add honey and/or stevia to sweeten it more). Add as much ice as you want. The more you add, the less sweet (and more cold, obviously) it becomes. And there you go!
