Thought I'd update before I hit the hay:
Every day, at 10am and 2pm they have a lecture, video, or cooking demo to go to. I skipped the 10 to just relax and nap, but made it to the video at 2. It was great (as I have a feeling they will all be).. I was on the Standard American Diet, and why everyone is getting so FAT! The lecturer was quite comical, and had a great presentation. I know I'm going to say this about all of them, but it was something every American should watch, to be sure!
Currently I'm feeling pretty good. Very slight nauseated, and some jitters (like pieces Prednisone became unglued from the crevices of my tissues, and are now making their way out... That may or may not be the cause, but that's what it feels like in any case).
This morning, I forgot to mention in my earlier post, I was awoken around 7:30am by a doctor and intern. I laughed and said, "It's like the hospital!" Except they don't wake you every few hours like the hospital does. Sheesh! Anyway... Apparently they check your vitals every morning... so I guess that'll just be my new alarm. :)
I love the picture! :) I hope you will have time to compose...at the rate things are going, you may not. But anyway, like you said, this is time to rest and let your system rebuild and reboot, so no worries. It will come.
ReplyDeleteHi Kate. I hope this short message finds you in good spirit. I wanted to pass on a bit of info to you. My memory is a bit hazy now with regard to what I am about to state. So, please bear with me. I recently saw a friend's picture of someone with a bruise on their arm (?) and it looked very similar to the one that you had on yours. My friend let me know that the person in the pic got healed by going on a gluten free diet. Maybe you should consider this.
